Board Member - Timothy E. Gage, Comcast Cable

Timothy E. Gage is the attorney who is responsible for government, regulatory, and public affairs matters in Comcast’s Southern Division. In this position, Mr. Gage is a member of the leadership team responsible for Comcast operations in Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina, Mississippi, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia and Arkansas. He is on the Board of Directors of The Cable Television Association of Georgia and Vice President of the South Carolina Cable and Telecommunications Association, PAC Board Member of Tennessee and Arkansas Cable Associations, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Piedmont Park Conservancy in Atlanta.

Prior to joining Comcast in November of 2002, Mr. Gage was Vice President of Law and Government Affairs for AT&T Broadband, Atlanta, and also served as Director of Legal and Government Affairs for AT&T Broadband and MediaOne in the Northeast Region. In these positions, he was responsible for state and local legislative issues, franchise negotiations, license transfers, license compliance, communication with elected and appointed officials and government and public affairs initiatives. While in the New England he served as the Governor’s appointee to the New Hampshire Telecommunications Planning Commission.

Before joining the cable industry in 1998, Mr. Gage was Assistant District Attorney for Norfolk County, Massachusetts in the office of then District Attorney, now United States Congressman William Delahunt, where he was responsible for prosecution and trial of criminal matters. Mr. Gage also practiced law with the Boston law firm of Crowley, Considine and Dray where he specialized in the areas of civil litigation and real estate. He also served five years as an elected Planning Commissioner in Massachusetts.

Mr. Gage graduated cum laude of Suffolk University School of Management in Boston, Massachusetts, with a B.S. degree in finance and banking. He continued his studies at Suffolk University School of Law where he was awarded a J.D. degree. Mr. Gage resides in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife and two children.
