Michael Thompson, Program Manager
Michael Thompson has worked with in a variety of positions related to education and human services. He has provided service to students with Developmental Disabilities in Florida, as well as serving as a school-based counselor with court-ordered and risk students. Michael also worked in the area of mental health assisting adults and juveniles in emotional crisis. In 2005, he began working with the Volunteer Florida Foundation as a grant manager for the Governor’s Family Literacy Initiative and currently serves as a grant manager and program coordinator for the Volunteer USA Foundation. His role is to help local level programs succeed in improving the education and lives of community members. Michael is graduate of The Florida State University, earning a B.S in Psychology, Minor in Business Management and Certification in Performance Management.
